Year end review.

So thats it 365 challenge complete, I shot a total of just over 13,000 photos over the last 365 days using all sorts of different gear and techniques. I only missed 2 days, lost one day and screwed up the numbering a couple times, but in the end I should have 365 photos up here.

Now it's time to post up the best of the year. Let me know what your picks are.

Wow, day 365 is here already. I have had a great year, learning to take better photos and to push my imagination. I made this photo using HDR processing to highlight the bright green moss and ferns and the blue shadowy ice, I wanted to show the change of season, or year, or decade.

365 photo book and News about my photography.

So Christmas has come and gone, some of you lucky people received my photos for presents (sorry they aren't better) and some are still waiting. As most know I am putting together a book of my photos from this blog and I want everyone to help me choose what goes in it. Some people have mentioned they like pictures from my other blogs so should I include other pictures or keep it just the best of 365 pix? I also set up a way easier way for everyone to look through all my posted photos. Just go to this link (click picture) and you can view all the photos on one page then click on them to see them big and view more info. Just pick your favorite 5, 10, 20, 50 however many photos and email me the list with either the Day ### or the date the photo was taken.

Christmas day! Unfortunately we had to cut our festivities short and hit the road back home. But I shot some great photos along the way. Here is the view looking west over Osoyoos.

Today I gave my self a ghetto challenge. I wanted to try macro photography for free, so I built this rediculous macro extension tube out of a Thai peanut can, an old Canon 50mm 1.8f lens, a Nikon body cap and a bunch of tape. The picture above is what I shot, Sir Wilfrid Laurier's eye from a five dollar bill. And below is my ghetto setup. Lighting was that led key chain flashlight.

More music video. This one is at the opposite end of musical genres, emo punk sort of music. Me and the same crew as last video shot a little vid of Ready Set Die recording "The Battle" in a cool little recording studio in the East Van ghetto.

Music video weekend. Me Trish and a bunch of the crew were out late shooting a music video for Dangerous ft. Canibus "The Dream Catcher" at the Motel club. Not a bad time and hopefully a decent video.
