Today I gave my self a ghetto challenge. I wanted to try macro photography for free, so I built this rediculous macro extension tube out of a Thai peanut can, an old Canon 50mm 1.8f lens, a Nikon body cap and a bunch of tape. The picture above is what I shot, Sir Wilfrid Laurier's eye from a five dollar bill. And below is my ghetto setup. Lighting was that led key chain flashlight.
